Taybl is a food safety app designed by chefs, for chefs, featuring higher levels of automation and intuitive interface to make record keeping less of a burden.

Designing an app from the ground up

The Taybl app brief was to reimagine a food safety app. There’s plenty of competing apps but none that are truly intuitive for how chefs work. Opening and closing checks can be customised to each venue, temperature checks have automated reminders for hot holding and deliveries integrate with both a document & supplier database.

Management level oversight, built in

Another feature commonly missing from competing apps is a comprehensive management overview. Venue managers can check on logs completed each day to ensure compliance, whereas venue owners can oversee multiple sites at a glance. Exporting records takes 2 taps and diary entries can be viewed at a glance for EHO compliance.

Website design & payment processing

After prototyping and designing the Taybl app, we project managed the app built, whilst building out a conversion-led website and subscription payment processing system that could offer free trials, multi-level pricing and feature sets. Finally, we designed bespoke email templates for consistent customer communication.
